EU4 emissions compliance are now achieved across the Discovery 3 TDV6 range, thanks to a small improvement in fuel consumption and a reduction in CO2 emissions by up to 5g/km. Other enhancements include the addition of rear park distance control to the entry level 7 seat TDV6; the option of Tyre Pressure Monitoring System for the first time on the Discovery 3, priced at £385.00; the introduction of electric power lumbar support to the driver's seat where memory seats are specified; and a premium navigation system now with the option of hybrid television, capable of receiving both analogue and digital TV signals, priced at £500.00. In addition, the Discovery 3 2007 model year is now available with Land Rover Watch, which, from the 2007 model year, is available across the company's model range as a cost option from £999.00. Land Rover Watch is an authorised pan-European stolen vehicle tracking system that achieves Thatcham Category 5 accreditation. The trim levels include the entry-level TDV6 five-seat which comes with 17" alloy wheels, coil-sprung suspension, ultrasonic alarm system (no Terrain Response), six-speed manual transmission (automatic transmission optional at £1505). The TDV6 GS has the above but adds 7 seats, 4 corner air suspension, Terrain Response and rear park distance control and is priced £29,715. The TDV6 XS adds 18" alloy wheels, cruise control, automatic climate control, park distance control, bi-xenon headlights (automatic transmission optional at £1505) and costs £37,215. Equipment fitted on the £43,715 TDV6 HSE include 19" alloy wheels, premium navigation system, moon roof, harman/kardon LOGIC7 sound system, six-speed automatic transmission, while the £38,690 V8 XS has 18" alloy wheels, four corner air suspension with Terrain Response, cruise control, automatic climate control, seven seats, park distance control, bi-xenon headlights, six-speed automatic transmission. The V8 SE is as above plus navigation system, leather pack, memory seats, automatic headlights, rain sensors and is priced £43,220. The top-of-the-range V8 HSE adds 19" alloy wheels, premium navigation system, moon roof, harman/kardon LOGIC7 sound system and costs £48,720. ITV Motoring |
