| | Model of the car: | Land Rover Discovery LE | | | General comments: | After reading all reviews, I could not help but to laugh at some of them. Sorry if I sound insensitive, but what were they thinking? Land Rover is not in the business of making reliable dependable cars to commute on freeways! Each car they made, they made it with off-road in mind. In the case of the Disco, they did just that. Then they gave it that arrogant royal look. Of course if they had given it a better engine, a wider base and had it available in two-wheel drive, you would see Disco’s every where! But these brits would rather die than admit they are wrong. So they set out to make cars that are good looking & fun but expensive and hard to maintain. Knowing that somewhere someone will buy one. Like me! Do not buy this car if you don’t take it off-road, do not buy it if you looking for a reliable transportation for a 200k miles either. Buy it if you like the looks and the feel of that beautiful car. Buy it and go abuse it in the mud and snow. Knowing that you could still gave it a wash a take it to a wedding. I love my Disco. But I also have a Honda! | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | A prefect SUV is like a prefect man, BORING! The brits know how to have fun. So turn that killer stereo off and listen to wind, put your swimming suits one cause that sunroof might leak, and be sweet to that dude from India at the gas station, you will seeing a lot of each other! | | | Previous car: | Don't be silly! |
