| | Model of the car: | Disco II | | | General comments: | The wife and I decided to get a sport-ute. Started at the Mercedes dealership drove the ML320 & ML430. Both of these are Junk. The seats are terrible and the build quality is the pits. Mercedes should be ashamed to put their logo on these two. Next off to the Lexus dealer. The RX300 is a 4x4 Minivan. Great ride, good seats, Too quite (can't hear the engine running). Without question this thing is designed for women. Boring, Boring, Boring.I will give Acura credit for producing the best 4x4 Minivan Sportute. This one beats the Lexus in every area, plus it cost at least 5 grand less.Still a sleeper though.At the BMW dealership looking at the X5. This is a great 4x4 Tall Sport Car. Basically a 5 series jacked up. No, I repeat NO cargo room. And boy is this thing expensive. You are better off getting a Disco II and buy a 5 series car. Chances are you have at least two cars.With the great deals Landrover is offering now on the Disco II, you cant go wrong. Mine cost less than a Jeep Grand Cherokee. We bought a Mercedes SLK 230 for the sport car side.
