| | Model of the car: | Disco SE | | | General comments: | Thank god, I got rid of this piece of crap. I took a $12,000 hit when I traded it in, (bought it for 34k, they gave 22k). Got into a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and the difference is night and day. The Rover with a 4.0 litre, less horse power burned more gas than the Jeep with a 5.2 liter HO 265hp engine. I feel sorry for the person who buys the Rover. The Jeep dealer has the Rover sitting in their used car lot for two months now. Today they called me up and told me that the battery went dead and they can't unlock the super locks on the doors and if I have any suggestions. I informed them that I never had this problem before and they should take it to the dealer if they can get into the truck. I hope they don't break the window, because they may wait 6 months for it to come in. In this day of high reliability, computer testing and design, Im surprised they build this crap and put it on the road. | | | Previous car: | Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ford Explorer and a 1989 Yugo Zastava (still a better car) |
