Discovery SE
| | Model of the car: | Discovery SE | | | General comments: | This SUV is great. I recieved a great deal from Princeton Land Rover (both Sales and Parts - for accessories). I traded in a 1998 Mercedes Benz E320 for this vechicle and do not regret the trade.
The Discovery SE drives a little rough (on-road) which in my opinion is expected, since it's a REAL off road vechicle. It took me all of 2 days to become comfortable with the interior gauges, radio, etc. I was also surprised that the driver seat didn't lower and go back further than it's lowest and furthest positions but again something to get use to. Also, the windshield wipers (remove rain rather than clean the windshield) I guess that was it's intended purpose. I could continue to pick out small aspects of the car that could be improved as with any other car. The thing is... you buy a vehicle knowing that every aspect of the car isn't perfect and all cars have some problems | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Somewhat Truckie Ride
Side window thickness seems thin
Hood too low to check dip sticks (need to bend dipsticks in order to check fluid levels, which is minor) | | | Previous car: | Owned:
Ford Explorer 97
Ford Expedition 1998
Mercury Mountaineer 2000
All of which were great vehicles but the Discovery SE has them all beat. And with continued improvements to the Discovery |
